Marija Tiurina is a London-based illustrator who has worked with some of the largest companies in the world. Tiurina’s work spans a variety of projects from advertising, print and children book to gaming, concept art, and online illustration. The lighter design is an adaption of her Though Slaughter painting, which she describes as “a watercolor Ode to anxiety.” This immersive, vivid, durable design is the new frontier of Zippo’s unparalleled decorative abilities. Zippo’s new 540 Color process allows for complete coverage of the lighter’s surface with precision artwork. Hinges and bottom stamps are laser engraved to allow for peak performance and easy date stamp verification, but otherwise, every single nanometer of the lighter’s surface can be covered by this resilient new process.
